Lockdown 2020, and the nation is trapped indoors, baking sourdough and hosting endless Zoom quizzes.
So, we thought we’d bring something a bit more fun to the country instead.
Meerkat Music was born, and we reunited Take That, and Robbie too, to perform a one-off live gig from their living room to yours, all in support of music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.
The 45 minute gig was supported by a huge amount of social activity in all the usual places, including the band members’ own social feeds and some fun Spotify ads playing Robbie and Gary against each other.
The performance was so well received that we did a sequel, this time starring Little Mix, delighting fans in the wake of cancelled gigs. TV ad and highlights clip below.
